Childhood friends, Dylan Ladds and Ryan Scura, started making movies together when they were 12. The simple joy of collaborative creation continues to fuel their filmmaking pursuits today. Together they lead the award winning production company, Dooster, that focuses on community centric, outdoor stories.

While we specialize in human stories of outdoor adventure, we also make brand videos for small businesses and big corporations, product videos, and event highlights.

Dylan Ladds

currently lives in Portland, Maine and often finds himself with his hands in the dirt, pulling up fresh garlic, or rowing and sailing traditional boats around the rocky coast.

RYAN SCURA

lives in San Francisco and when he’s not running through urban trails, you can find him pulling a fresh loaf of bread out of the oven.

Growing up in New Hampshire, we found inspiration and purpose in the White Mountains and on our small but powerful seashore. As filmmakers and individuals, we are our best selves when exploring the outdoors. These natural spaces have given us so much and we have a responsibility to protect them.
